Measuring and Installation

Measure for your new roller blinds,

Before we start, we need few things at hand to make measuring easy

Have a reliable metal tape measure
Copy of our Check Measure Sheet and pen
Someone to give you a hand on large windows

SO, LETS STARTOn the Check Measure Sheet write what room the blind is going in E.G Bedroom, Living, Dining and so on

Now look at the window front on, decide where to install the blind, on the face (architrave) or in the recess

If it’s on the face, then it’s not complicated.

If the blind is getting installed in the recess, then you need to see if there is enough room to install.

There should be at least 60mm opening to accommodate the blind in this position.

Look for window winders and window locks on the side of windows. There should be enough room for the fabric to move freely up and down. (It is RECOMMENDED to overroll OR (front roll) all recessed blinds)

You will need three measurements for the width and two for the drop.

Get The Check Measure Sheet

Start to measure at the top side of the recess where the blind is going to be installed,

this is the most critical measurement of all. Then measure the middle then the bottom of the window recess, write down the smallest measurement in the width column

You need to be precise with this measurement and it should be in millimetres. Now measure the drop start from left side from top to bottom recess and write in the Drop column.
